Travelling is a keyboard based trio that probably represents best what the mythical Futura label’s RED series was about; jazz, rock and experimental inquisitiveness. Often considered as the French answer to the Canterbury movement, echoes of Soft Machine, Caravan and Supersister can be heard on the sidelong opening track “Voici la nuit tombée”, the album’s tour de force , with its fuzz bass, distorted organs, piano jazz and complex meters elements. First time vinyl reissue of this 1973 pioneering prog jewel fully licenced by Gérard Terronès.
